Club Championship

Please find below the races for ITRC 2017 Club Championship.

The races will be all trail and fitting of the ‘endurance’ status of the club. Points will be allocated to members based on time and age and so weighted accordingly.

To be eligible you need to run as a minimum 1 x Long Run, 1 x Medium Run and 3 x Hill/Trail Runs.

Below is a list of all the races including dates they commence (if known) and a link (click on the race) to the relevant website for entry.  Reminders will also be posted on the ITRC Facebook page so nobody misses out.

Long (must have completed 1 of these)
Lairig Ghru Marathon – 25th June – Pre-entry required
D33 11th March – Pre-entry required
Balmoral 15 MileTrail Race23rd April – Pre-entry required
Ben Rinnes Hill Race 29th July – Entry on day 

Medium (must have completed 1 of these)
Speyside windfarm 12 mile – TBC August – Pre-entry required
Clachnaben hill race – 8th April – Pre-entry advised

Krunce Series (best result – 6 races) – 1st Tuesday of each month (from April) – Entry on day
Dunnydeer Hillrace  TBC June – Entry on day (as part of Insch Summer Gala)
Haddo House XC – 22nd January – Entry on day
El-Brimick Dash – 7th January – Entry on day
Heart of the Park – 9th July – Entry on day
Scolty Hill Race – TBC June – Entry on day
Loch kinnord 10k – TBC October – Pre-entry advised
Barra hill 10K – 27th May – Pre-entry required                                                                         Hazlehead Parkrun (best result) – Any Saturday 9am
Touler 10k – 18th June – Pre-entry Required

In addition to the club championship there will be a shield for the most improved male and female runner in the club, the “go hard or go home” award as well as the Neil Jaffray Quaich which will be awarded to the runner whom the club feels has been most inspirational over the year.
