I have been running since 2005 but only took it seriously in 2013 when I completed my first marathon (Moray marathon). Since then I have pushed my limits beyond 26 miles and entered the world of ultramarathons. D33 in 2014 was my first ultra distance race and in 2016 I won the female Scottish Ultra Marathon Series. The future is about running beyond 100 miles. My passion is to run on trail and in the mountains and my ‘A’ race this coming year will be the Lakes SkyUltra race in July in preparation for attempting the Bob Graham round in 2019. I am most proud of running the London Marathon in 3:29, on tar!!!!
Training: I am a qualified JogLeader through Scottish Athletics and have been leading a club in Meldrum and Alford for the last 14 years, I am a fully trained outdoor first aider and have a Low Hills certificate as well as having my Mountain Leader Assessment booked for October 2017.
